Diário da República
A proposta para a nova identidade e logótipo do Diário da República marca o início de uma nova etapa, de renovação e reafirmação dos seus valores. Esta parte de uma reflexão sobre o que é o Diário da República, o que representa e qual o seu posicionamento estratégico. Tratando-se de um jornal/livro diário composto por dois volumes/séries; a primeira série e a segunda série.
O Diário da República, ao longo dos últimos anos, tem vindo a destacar-se pela disponibilização de resumos dos atos legislativos em linguagem clara assim como pela contínua procura de atualização e inovação na forma de disponibilizar a mesma. No seguimento desta ideia de constante evolução, procurou-se desenvolver uma proposta que ultrapassasse o figurativo e estático, que não datasse o Diário da República, e que transmitisse o seu dinamismo. A nova imagem baseia-se, então, neste entendimento do Diário da República enquanto um diário escrito pela República Portuguesa, através de uma linguagem clara, simples e acessível a todos os indivíduos que constituem a sua sociedade.
Visualmente este conceito é traduzido de forma reta e simplificada, através da depuração dos elementos que compõem o símbolo refletindo assim a ideia do diário folheado pela sociedade portuguesa. O símbolo representa o diário/livro e a bandeira portuguesa estilizada, de modo a garantir a uniformização da marca em todas as plataformas. A tipografia não serifada e a bold, reforça a ideia de uma comunicação clara e explícita, de fácil perceção devido às suas formas evidentes.
The proposal for the new identity and logo of Diário da República marks the beginning of a new stage, of renewal and reaffirmation of its values. This part of a reflection on what the Diário da República is, what it represents and what is its strategic positioning. In the case of a daily newspaper/book consisting of two volumes/series; the first series and the second series.
The Diário da República, over the last few years, has come to stand out for providing summaries of legislative acts in clear language as well as for the continuous search for updating and innovation in the way of making it available. Following this idea of constant evolution, an attempt was made to develop a proposal that went beyond the figurative and static, that did not date the Diário da República, and that conveyed its dynamism. The new image is based, therefore, on this understanding of the Diário da República as a diary written by the Portuguese Republic, using clear, simple and accessible language for all the individuals that make up its society.
Visually, this concept is translated in a straight and simplified way, through the purification of the elements that make up the symbol, thus reflecting the idea of the diary covered by Portuguese society. The symbol represents the diary/book and the stylized Portuguese flag, in order to ensure the uniformity of the brand on all platforms. The sans serif and bold typography reinforces the idea of clear and explicit communication, easy to understand due to its obvious shapes.
